I LOVE Life Unplastic! If you care about your health and the environment this is the best store for cleaning supplies, pantry staples, toiletries & more. They have an amazing selection of high-quality products and I love that I can shop in confidence knowing Im buying products that aren't full of toxins and plastic packaging like found in traditional stores. I have switched my cleaning supplies, many toiletries, kitchen items, and pantry ingredients to their products and all are great quality. They also carry locally made items like candles, pet treats/supplies (my cats love them), great low-waste gift items. They have become an integral part of my shopping routine!

If you, like me, thought “when I save up some money I’ll go check this place out” - this is your sign to go ahead and GO! I had never done the “buy in bulk and use a refillable container” thing before today but it ended up being LESS expensive than what I have been buying at the big box store! Plus if you aren’t sure about a product you can buy just a small amount to try it out. I am so excited to try out my new plastic-free products.

This might actually be my favorite retail space in Gainesville! First off, it smells like a spa when you walk in. For a smaller space, it is well organized and does not feel cramped. It is also beautiful. It is delightful to be here. And that's just the ambience. The service is exceptional and the experience is a joy. It's like going to the general store! My partner and I originally started coming here to get Resident coffee beans in bulk (iykyk) and have slowly started replacing other household items. We get the laundry detergent, olive oil, hand soap, and more! A lovely place. Worth the visit every time, to say nothing of the mission and the benefits of reducing plastic waste.

This is the most amazing business. This is what every town should strive to have. They are working to make a more sustainable community that doesn't rely on plastic packaging. They have so many home staples you can buy in bulk. Both employees I talked to were super helpful and knowledge and personable. I've been twice in one week and will be going back again and again.

Life Unplastic is an absolutely wonderful store supporting Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose :) BYOB ( Bring Your Own Bottle / Bags). Life Unplastic supplies an array of eco - friendly items such as Bulk food items, Personal care items, Laundry essentials, Cleaning supplies, Healthy baked pet treats, Free seed library :) , Pantry supplies and other sustainable products for sale :)
